I just realized I haven't written a journal entry in almost a year.  That's partly because my life has been so chaotic on a personal and work level. A year ago I was working 11 pm to 7 am (Night) shift as a CNA at a nursing home.  When I first started working I was so thrilled.  I mean I had been hired to do what I went to school for, you know?  Then everything went down hill.  To be absolutely comfortable taking care of residents there needs to be at least 4 CNAs on the floor.  Then the number of residents started going down for various reasons (some of which still make me teary eyed to think about).  So we got downstaffed to 3 CNAs at nigh

Since I can't really draw worth a darn I've decided to start putting up photos I've taken.  The photos will mostly be of my cats because well they are good models and don't complain about me making them look bad.  They also do wonderful 'poses' without even trying. I like taking pictures because it's like capturing a moment in time.

Stuff in my life

I finally saw How to Train Your Dragon last monday and I loved it.  Toothless is so cute and reminds me of my cat.  Does Toothless remind anyone else of a cat?  The instant romance between Hiccup and Astrid was kind of off-putting but hey not everything can be perfect.  I got the promotional poster for the toys at work because they were just going to throw it away (I work at McDonald's), so that made me very happy. The night of the 16th I had an 11pm to 7am clinical for my CNA class.  Now I understand why the residents in nursing homes doze off during the day.  The CNA's have to wake them up every 2 hours during the night to make sure they a

Sorry took so long to reply but I have been so busy with CNA class and work that I'm lucky if I remember to eat. Other than that I'm doing pretty good.
