Job Interview and a rant
NervousOn another note, my state, Maine, passed the bill to allow same sex marraige. I'm so proud. But yeah the real process begins. The people who were against it are putting in a petition to put it to a vote among the people. I just wanna smack some of the opposers because they are not giving real reasons that there shouldn't be same sex marraiges. Just the usual "it will cause the moral decay of our society", "marraige is a sacred thing between a man and a woman" and my personal fave "the Bible says it's wrong". I personally believe that the Bible should not be taken too literally because despite it being the 'word of God' it was written by men and translated over and over by men. So things have been lost, edited out, and mistranslated. For an example 'suffer a not a witch to live', it's actually 'suffer not a poisoner to live'. And don't even get me started on people saying oh it's giving homosexuals special rights. Bullshit! It's giving them equal rights like during the Women's Sufferage Movement and the Civil Rights Movement. If I've insulted anybody with my opinion too bad and toughen up.
